When I got into digital marketing, I wanted to build new skills and earn extra income—but Instagram? Been there, tried that, didn’t work out. I was looking for other ways to make money online, so I bought this course hoping for that.
Spoiler alert: It didn’t quite deliver.
We’ve covered email marketing, branding, and social media strategies, and now we’re getting into the part that actually matters—how to make money (or at least what DWA claims will make you money) with absolutely no monthly fees.
This is where the course should finally deliver on its promise of helping you build a profitable online business. So, does it? Let’s get into it.
Affiliate Marketing – The Gateway to Passive Income?
Affiliate marketing is a crucial component of a successful digital marketing business and is often hyped as the ultimate “make money while you sleep” strategy. DWA covers:
- How to pick the right affiliate programs (high-ticket vs. low-ticket commissions)
- Strategies for promoting affiliate links without being spammy
- Building multiple income streams so you don’t rely on just one program
The Verdict?
Beginner-friendly, but the strategies aren’t groundbreaking
Covers theory more than execution—not enough detail on how to actually drive traffic
More focused on attraction marketing (getting people to come to you) than sales techniques
If you’re a beginner, this will give you a foundation, but if you already know what affiliate marketing is, there’s nothing new here.
Amazon Influencer & Associates Program – Worth Your Time?
The Amazon module covers how to effectively market and make money through:
- The Amazon Associates program (earning commissions from product links)
- Amazon Influencer Program (getting paid for review videos on Amazon product pages)
- Creating & submitting review videos that get approved
- Sharing affiliate links to earn commissions
The Verdict?
Actionable for beginners—it walks you through the approval process, video creation, and monetization
Missing advanced strategies—doesn’t dive deep into how to actually get views on your videos and links
Amazon commissions are notoriously low, so making real money takes strategy
If you’re new to Amazon monetization, this module is useful. But if it doesn’t teach you how to drive traffic to your videos, it’s only half the equation.
UGC Course – The Standout Module in a Digital Marketing Course
By far the best module in DWA, created by Brazilian UGC expert Mari Moroz, focuses on building your own personal brand.
This isn’t just “what UGC is.” She actually teaches:
- Real brand pitch examples—step-by-step outreach that works
- Brand outreach templates—plug-and-play scripts for landing paid deals
- How to price yourself & negotiate contracts
- A complete breakdown of UGC video types & structures
The Verdict?
Best UGC training compared to other courses—super detailed & actionable
Perfect for beginners AND intermediate creators—everything is provided
Covers contracts, pricing, and brand deals—most courses skip this part
If you’re interested in making money with UGC, this alone might justify the price of DWA.
Digital Product Creation – High-Ticket or Just a Basic Guide to Sell Digital Products?
Richard’s module on digital products covers the essentials of starting and managing a digital product business:
- Using Canva to create eBooks, templates, and online courses
- Pricing & positioning high-ticket digital products
- Basic sales strategies for digital downloads
The Verdict?
Good if you’re brand new to digital products
Very surface-level—doesn’t go deep into launching, scaling, or automation
Likely overlaps with previous content (branding, content creation)
If you want to start selling digital products, this gives a basic roadmap, but don’t expect advanced strategies.
Network Marketing – Profitable Online Business or MLM Rebrand?
DWA’s take on network marketing includes strategies to create a profitable online business:
- Branding yourself instead of just selling a company’s products
- Using attraction marketing to recruit without being spammy
- Mixing network marketing with digital products & affiliate income
The Verdict?
If it’s actual business strategy, great. If it’s just MLM tactics with a new name, not great.
Need to confirm: Is this really about sustainable income, or just recruiting people?
Sales Mastery – “Mastery” in 5 Minutes?
Taught by Alexander Gino, this module covers how to sell digital products effectively:
- Marketing psychology tricks (word swaps like “investment” instead of “cost”)
- Responding to objections (discount requests, price hesitations)
- Instagram sales mistakes (bad hooks, missing CTAs)
The Verdict?
Basic, basic, basic. Even for a beginner course, this is too surface-level
No real sales strategies, just a few scripts and wordplay tricks
Mastery? More like “Intro to Selling” in 5 minutes
If you’ve never sold anything before, you’ll get a few tips. If you actually want to learn how to sell, this is not it.
Final Verdict: Some Hits, Some Misses
The Good:
UGC Course is top-tier—best module in the whole course, hands down
Amazon module is practical—good if you’re a total beginner
The Bad:
Sales Mastery is a joke—way too basic to be useful
Network marketing module might be MLM in disguise
Some modules feel like fluff or repeats, especially the ones covering various social media channels
Who Should Actually Take This?
- Brand new to digital marketing? There’s enough here to get your feet wet, but don’t expect a deep dive.
- If UGC is your thing, Mari Moroz single-handedly makes this course worth considering.
- Looking for high-level sales strategies or serious monetization tactics? Keep looking—this won’t get you there.
So, what’s the deal? DWA has its moments (mostly thanks to Mari Moroz), but overall, it’s a mixed bag. If you’re thinking about buying, just know what you’re getting into.
